These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of KenKen Instruments services, including custom instrument building, repairs, rentals, and our website (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Our Services

KenKen Instruments provides:

• Custom handcrafted musical instruments (drums, guitars, etc.)
• Instrument repair and restoration services
• Instrument rental services
• Consultation and design services

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to enter into contracts for our services. Minors may use our services with parental consent and supervision.

3. Custom Instrument Orders

Custom instrument orders are subject to:

• A detailed consultation and design approval process
• 50% deposit required to begin work
• Final payment due upon completion
• Estimated completion times are approximate and subject to material availability
• Custom instruments are non-refundable once work begins

4. Repairs and Restoration

Repair services include:

• Free estimates for most repairs
• Written approval required for repairs over €200
• 6-month warranty on repair work
• Instruments not collected within 90 days may incur storage fees

5. Rental Services

Instrument rentals require:

• Valid identification and contact information
• Security deposit equal to 50% of instrument value
• Damage beyond normal wear will be charged to the renter
• Late returns subject to additional daily charges

6. Payment Terms

Payment terms:

• Custom instruments: 50% deposit, 50% on completion
• Repairs: Payment due on completion
• Rentals: Payment due at time of rental
• Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer, cash, major credit cards

7. Warranties

We provide:

• 1-year warranty on custom instruments for manufacturing defects
• 6-month warranty on repair work
• Warranty does not cover normal wear, damage from misuse, or modifications by others

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Provide false information about your identity or needs
• Use our services for illegal activities
• Interfere with our business operations

9. Intellectual Property

All custom designs and craftsmanship methods remain the intellectual property of KenKen Instruments. Customers receive full ownership of their completed instruments but may not reproduce our designs for commercial purposes.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KENKEN INSTRUMENTS' LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

11. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms:

• Custom orders: Cancellation possible before work begins, deposit may be retained for design work
• Rentals: 48-hour cancellation notice required
• Repairs: Can be cancelled anytime before work begins

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by German law. Any disputes will be resolved in Berlin, Germany courts. We comply with all applicable German and EU consumer protection laws.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
